Home Theater Installation

For many people the pride of their home is an awesome home theater.  Home theaters have become wildly popular the last couple of decades and with today’s plasma and LCD High Def TV’s, as well as high tech surround sound receivers and speakers, almost any do it yourselfer can install a high quality home theater.

There are three things that most home owners want to accomplish when installing their home theater, one is to place their flat panel TV on a wall, the second is to create a cabinet for their audio and video products and third is to hide all wires and cords for a clean, professional looking installation.

Installing your flat panel TV on your wall is usually a basic task to accomplish.  Most flat panel TV’s come with specific wall hanging kits that fit the TV set’s weight and size requirements.  With a drill, stud finder and a few anchors, you can effectively install your TV on a wall or even ceiling.

If you are looking for an audio video cabinet, you can find many cabinets that are affordably priced and look great for any home theater.  Most require assembly and can be put together in about a couple of hours.

Hiding wires takes a little more work.  Usually this requires drilling holes and running wires through the walls. However, with a few hours worth of work, you can easily create a professional looking installation of your home theater.
