Yesterday I was thinking about the advancement of Information Technology and its association with Organization. Organization is a model which is surrounded by a continuously changing information technology. So whatever changes that happen in technology will definitely have an impact on organization. So I was making my approach deeply in this area and could get that current changes in the field of information technology have more impact on the business processes which have an effect on both intra and inter organizational change. Some of the changes I could get are namely:

• Automation of all kind of traditionally manually executed processes - This change is brought both in administrative business domains and in physically oriented business domains.
• Tasks of controlling and managing - is supported and taken over by advanced                 computer application.
• Learning Process - Speed with which the innovations happening in information technology is rapid and so to keep pace with the continuous innovation process        Changes are brought in organizational learning process.
• Time Sharing – In the third generation of information technology change the concept of time sharing was introduced which was widely used by many organization and as result brought a change in the way the organization functions
• Customer Service System - The advancement of information technology brought the concept of computer based information system in organizations which helped to provide information about customers at any point of contact and proved very useful to management.
• MIS - Management Information system is a new advancement of information technology which brought a change in the existing organization system by computerizing the information and presents management information relating to business in a faster and efficient way. This helps to integrate the planning and control of all major manufacturing resources in one comprehensive computer based system
• Changes in scheduling operations in Organization - This is brought by introduction of Manufacturing Resources Planning (MRP) a new information technology innovation.

I could clearly visualize that all these changes in the organization due to information Technological innovation improves the performance, productivity and there by increase business. Thus in short Information Technology shapes Organizations.
