Why Vista won’t disappoint us

Posted in Technology, Hardware by John T P on March 1st, 2006

According to most of us, Windows XP and other previous Windows versions are unsecure. Microsoft has released many patches and updates for Windows, but the OS has not been sucessful in being completely secure.

And why? Well, it’s because of Windows Kernel that is designed and built in a way that prevents it from being truly secure. The only solution is to redesign the kernel with a focus on stability and security.

Well, that’s what Microsoft has been doing with Windows Vista. The whole kernel has been reorganized and rewritten to help prevent software from affecting the system in unsavory ways. In Vista, it should be much more difficult for Viruses and Trojans to affect the core of the OS and secretly harm your system.
